The Co-Host for the November Denver Happy Hour is Ethan Wallison (Owner, The Empire of Crime, Production & Promoting of Live Comedy Events).  I met Ethan a while ago through a friend at the Denver Athletic Club.  She told him that I am a Ninja & he calls me Ninja ever since :)  He's hilarious and a good friend.  Please come join us at the 9th Door (Lincoln).

Ethan Wallison is an entertainment entrepreneur who owns and operates The Empire of Crime, a Denver-based producer and promoter of stand-up comedy and live comedy events. He is also an award-winning real estate developer as well as a former longtime political journalist who served as a White House correspondent and reported from overseas. A Colorado transplant, Ethan was raised in New York City and Washington, DC. He likes Denver – the climate in particular – but feels that its restaurants close too early and there isn’t enough opera.

On the Costa Del Sol of Spain, Located between Malaga and Marbella, sits a quiet little mountain village called Mijas. During the summer of 1969, after having been made famous by James Mitchner in his novel, The Drifters, Mijas had become an expatriate community of international writers and poets. Late afternoon, these expats would gather at their favorite bar--One without a name, distinguishable only by the number nine that was carved in the nondescript door. Behind The Ninth Door, They would imbibe on the local wine and brandy and share the tapas of the house, trading stories and wooing the local women with poetry until the early hours of the morning.
The 9th Door at The Beauvallon is the premier Spanish tapas bar and restaurant located in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.
