I've been a friend to Joan Slaughter, Executive Director of Morgan Adams Foundation, for years. Joan's daughter, Morgan, died at the age of 6 from a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor in December of 1997. At the time, kids with Morgan's disease had only a 15% chance of survival.
