The Co-Host for the Augusts’ Denver Happy Hour is Jennifer Vanko, Medical Liaison. I met Jen on the Internet. Sounds funny but it’s true. She found me online & asked about moving from Boston, if she would like it, where to live.. Since then, she moved to the Manhattan in Riverfront then a year later purchased in the lower highlands neighborhood near Lola/Vita. The first place we met was at McLoughlins & became good friends ever since.


I’m very fond of McLoughlins and I’m a big fan of the Riverfront Neighborhood. McLoughlins has a great happy hour, the food is delicious, good people watching, great patio, free wifi, and the staff is always a pleasure to be around… for those that haven’t been, it’s like Cheers, but better..

Jennifer, a Pennsylvania native, turned Bostonian, that transplanted to Denver in 2006. Denver was intended to be a 2 year experience, but 4 and a half years later, she considers Denver home. Jennifer cherishes all of the friendships I have made in Denver and all of the opportunities this city has to offer.

Pharmacist, specializing in critical care with Harvard for 7 years while in Boston, now specializing in women's health research and education as a Medical Science Liaison with Teva Women's Health Research.
